To achieve a sturdy light form structure for the HERRINGBONE table, the design was inspired by a leaf. If one strips a leaf of its lamina, it is left with only the veins, the structure that functions as a support. The HERRINGBONE table top uses two main beams along with crossbars to support the glass sheet providing it with a light structure that can withstand anything.
